My name is James and I’ve been a professional image maker for over 16 years now. Despite that, I still enjoy the process and craft of creating photographs and think that sharing information is a good thing. I enjoy discussing image making and artistic influences a great deal more than technology and gear, but there are times when I’m impressed by toys.
There is a lot of what I do that my clients probably wouldn’t care about reading on my main blog, so I created this little blog as a diversion and a sort of personal photo-geek therapy. This site is for my friends, it is for my students. It’s for those people who wonder what the hell I must be thinking about when I’m doing that blank stare thing that I sometimes do.
Can’t wait to see how your blog develops. I love my beat-up Nikon. The rubber ring slides off, the dial is loose, and I have to turn it on and off to get the AF to work, but it’s the best.
